Following her inaugurational lecture, Ulrike Attenberger, Head of the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-Guided Therapy, warmly invites you to the symposium "Next Gen Imaging: Towards a Smarter Diagnostic Future." This event brings together leading international experts to explore innovative advances for tomorrow`s healthcare.

The symposium starts with a key note lecture by Hedvig Hricak (G.S. Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, New York) who will provide an outlook on the future of medical imaging-expecting the unexptected. The talks will cover groundbreaking topics such as multiparametric oncologic imaging in combination with machine learning (Andrea Rockall, Imperial College, London) for enhanced cancer diagnosis. Konstantin Nikolaou (University Hospital Tuebingen) will highlight recent innovations that are changing cardiac diagnostics through even more precise imaging. Horst Hahn (Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine, MEVIS) will talk about AI-driven radiology and how AI is shifting paradigms and making
diagnostics smarter and faster.

As you will see the future of medical imaging is following a clear path towards a more integrated, intelligent, and patient-centered diagnostic landscape. The symposium offers a unique opportunity to engage with international thought leaders and stay at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
