Marie Curie Fellowship for Ms Magdalena Wadsak, BSc

Magdalena Wadsak, BSc., has been awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship for completion of her master's thesis, which is related to radiochemistry and the nuclear field. This fellowship is funded by the IAEA with the aim of increasing the representation of women in these fields. In addition to the fellowship, Magdalena has the opportunity to pursue an internship facilitated by the IAEA.

Magdalena will conduct her master's thesis in a collaborative format, spanning the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Vienna, along with the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the Medical University of Vienna. The project will be supervised by Ass.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Verena Pichler and co-supervised by Dr. Marius Ozenil. Her research will focus on developing a novel bile acids radiotracer for potential application in Positron Emission Tomography.
