Maria Pia Zupi

Maria Pia Zupi is a Ph.D. student in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at the Department of Computer Engineering, Modeling, Electronics and Systems (DIMES), University of Calabria. She holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, from the University of Calabria. Her research focuses on machine learning and artificial intelligence, with particular emphasis on the development of methodologies for Out-of-Distribution (OOD) detection in machine and deep learning systems. Her work investigates reliable OOD detection approaches and their application to medical imaging.
