The Division is structured as follows:
The Board of Directors supervises and controls the administration of the division. The duty of the Board is the proper organization of the operation of the facility, to promote the facility and its capabilities, and represent its interests in internal and external communications. The Board oversees the operation, financials, and quality management of the division.
The Head of Operation oversees the operational activity of the division and is responsible for project and data management, establishment and optimizing preclinical imaging workflows and capacities, as well as maintaining knowledge of imaging procedures.
The Head of Translational Imaging oversees the operational activity of the division and is responsible for the quality assurance of imaging data and workflows. The Head closely collaborates with the Head of Operation to achieve reproducible and reliable imaging data and promotes clinical translation.
The thematic Core Experts are responsible for instrument and equipment maintenance, scanner configuration, and workflow development as well as data acquisition, -handling, and -evaluation.
The Steering Committee is an advisory board and supports the Board of Directors in strategic initiatives across the wider organization. It provides advice or inputs on future developments and challenges in preclinical medical imaging and aids in resolving potential conflicts between the parties.
