How to Obtain your Examination Images and/or Report

According to Article 17 of the Vienna Hospital Institutional Regulations, patients have the right to receive a copy of their examination report and/or images.

Once your exam report is officially completed, it will be automatically sent to your referring physician, office or clinic. The images will remain at our institution.

Should it be necessary to have a copy of your exam images or report, this request must contain the following data:

•    Patient name, date of birth, phone number, address
•    Name and date of exam, whether images, report or both are being requested
•    Your consent if requested from elsewhere

Please arrange written or telephone requests for images and/or reports through the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy.
