Christoph Baumann finished his Masters in Biomedical Engineering at the TU-Vienna in 2025, with focus on Mathematical & Computational Biology and Machine Learning.
His masters thesis was conducted in cooperation with doctors from the Medical University of Vienna, focusing on automatic quantification of toric intraocular lens rotation with the help of computer vision and machine learning methods.
Next to that he was working for private companies in the domain of data analysis and logistics simulations, building an unique tool for quick data-analysis without the need for an IT-project.
Since March of 2026 he is an AI-Researcher at the AICARD project at the Medical University of Vienna.
