Lisa Schunke

Lisa Schunke is a PhD student in the CIR group, working within the HER-CARE doctoral network on multi-modal machine learning for breast cancer. She completed a double master’s degree in Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Machine Learning at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2026. In her master’s thesis, she modelled spatial transcriptomics using flow matching in the group of Fabian Theis at Helmholtz Munich. Recently, she also completed an internship at Lyzeum, a medical imaging startup.
